Syracuse Police investigating double shooting on Merriman Avenue

SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police are investigating a double shooting on Merriman Avenue.
The shooting happened around 2:40 p.m.
33-year-old Hector Sepulveda, of Syracuse, was found in the street bleeding from gun shot wounds to both legs. He was transported to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Sepulveda reported he did not know what had happened to him.
Both victims are being treated and are expected to survive.
While officers were on scene, 19-year-old Rafael Frias walked into Upstate University Emergency Room with a gun shot wound to the left buttock. Frias stated he was in the 300 block of Merriman Avenue but refused to provide any further information.
Police found ballistic evidence on scene indicating that two separate guns were fired during this incident.
The investigation into this shooting is active and on going.
