LIVERPOOL (AP) -- The New York State Thruway Authority says it is closing the E-Z Pass walk-in center on Old Liverpool Road in addition to those in Albany and north of Buffalo on Grand Island.

Thruway officials say closing the three centers on June 8 will save $1 million annually. Centers in Nanuet, Yonkers, Queens and Staten Island will remain open.

E-Z Pass customers still can access their accounts on the web or toll-free at 1-800-333-8655.

There also are more than 750 E-Z Pass "On-the-Go" retail locations.
