ITHACA -- Ithaca police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a student who reportedly fell from a roof.

Officers said it happened around 1 a.m. Sunday at 102 The Knoll Road.

Police said they found a student unresponsive on the ground. The student had reportedly fallen from a second floor fire escape.

The student was flown to a Trauma Center. The injuries are not known at this time.

Cornell Police are assisted Ithaca Police.

The student's identity and condition have not been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
