Victim says he was in his car, fighting with 3 men

Syracuse Police are looking for witness help in a stabbing at North Salina and Isabella Streets on Saturday afternoon.

A man, stabbed in the chest, walked into the St. Joseph's Hospital Emergency Room on Saturday afternoon, and now Syracuse Police are looking for help on details of the crime.

The victim, 20 year old Jacob Giarusso, says he was sitting in a car at Isabella and North Salina Street, about 2:45pm,  when one of three men that he and his friends had been fighting with a half hour earlier stabbed him.  The injuries are not life-threatening.

Police say the victim described the suspect as 18 to 20 years old, a mixed race man.  Anyone with further details or information is asked to call Syracuse Police at 44-5222.
