SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police are on the scene of a shooting on the city's east side that critically injured a man.

The first call for help came at 5:48 p.m.

The situation has drawn a major police presence to the interesction of East Genesee Street and Croly Street.

Police have not revealed the victim's name, and they don't have a suspect in custody at this time.
