Construction worker who fell from Camillus roof identified

CAMILLUS -- The construction worker who police say fell off a roof in Camillus has now been identified.

On Thursday around 3:05 p.m., Harvey Seymour III, 46, of Fulton, was placing shingles on the roof at 66 North Street when he somehow fell 30 feet to the ground, according to Camillus Police.

Other workers with A to Z Contracting of Phoenix were on the other side of the house and did not notice the fall.

Seymour suffered a serious head injury and was rushed to Upstate University Hospital where he later died.

Camillus Police and OSHA are investigating the incident.
