PREBLE, CORTLAND COUNTY -- The man trapped under a farm tractor in Cortland County has been identified.

David Sherman, 31, of Preble was trying to haul a log Monday afternoon when the tractor flipped over, pinning him underneath, according to the Cortland County Sheriffs Department.

It happened near Route 11 and Foley Road in Preble.

Sherman was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital and is in critical condition.
