SYRACUSE -- Fire crews in Syracuse responded to the scene of a major house fire on Temple Street at around 10:20 p.m. Monday night.

That’s on the south side of the city.

The house was apparently vacant and undergoing renovations.

The Post-Standard reports that a tree and grass around the home was also on fire when crews arrived at the scene.

No one was inside the home at the time of the fire.

An investigation is ongoing.
