SYRACUSE (AP) -- Federal prosecutors say more than a dozen people have been indicted in connection with a large-scale cocaine distribution ring operating in Central New York.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Syracuse announced Thursday that 14 men and a woman have been indicted by a federal grand jury on cocaine trafficking charges. Authorities say 13 were arrested Thursday morning and two remain at large, including a man from Greenfield Center in Saratoga County.

The other 14 suspects are from the Syracuse area.

Officials say federal drug agents and local police launched an investigation into the cocaine ring in the spring of 2011. Prosecutors say so far the bust has netted cocaine with a street value of more than $500,000, several guns and $55,000 in cash.
