MARCY --
State Police in Marcy say they arrested 43-year-old Robert F. Adesak, of Utica, for firing a gun at a home in Marcy.
Police say they responded to a report of gun shots fired on Linda Drive around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
When they arrived, police say they noticed a car with a broken rear windshield and found a bullet hole through the front windshield.
A woman told police at the scene that she was having trouble with Adesak, her ex-boyfriend.
Police stopped Adesak in his car near his home and saw what they say appeared to be a handgun on the floor behind the passenger’s seat. Police say they searched the car and found a "COLD Commander" semi-automatic pistol, a spent 30-30 rifle casing, and a wig.
Police charged Adesak with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, and DWI.
Adesak was arraigned in the Town of Marcy Court and remanded to Oneida County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash or secure bond. Police say a stay away order was issued by the Judge and served at that time.
