SYRACUSE -- Three men were allegedly caught in the act while robbing a house on Syracuse’s north side early Monday morning.
Police say a neighbor reported a burglary in progress at a house on Carbon Street.
The men ran away when police arrived, but were caught after a short chase.
27-year-old Matthew Morris, of Syracuse, 21-year-old Daniel Lees, of Cato, and 20-year-old Ryan Rall, of Syracuse, were charged with burglary, criminal possession of stolen property and possession of burglar’s tools.
All three were arraigned in Syracuse City Court Monday morning and pleaded not guilty.
They're due back in court for a preliminary hearing later this month.
