Manlius police have arrested a Fayetteville man in connection with two recent bank robberies in Fayetteville and Manlius.

Police say Ajdin Catal, 19, of 409 Cleveland Blvd. in Fayetteville, NY, robbed the SECNY Credit Union in Manlius, NY and the M and T bank in Fayetteville, NY. He was arrested Sunday morning at the Town of Manlius Police Department and charged with two counts of 3rd degree robbery, one count of 3rd degree grand larceny, and one count of 4th degree grand larceny.

Manlius police were assisted by Syracuse Police and the Onondaga County Sheriff's department, who helped locate the vehicle Catal used in the M and T Bank robbery.

The investigation is continuing by the Town of Manlius Police Department and they ask that anyone with information relating to either robbery to contact Manlius Police at 682-2212.
