UTICA -- A Utica man is behind bars after going on a violent rampage when his wife refused to give him money for drugs.

Early Wednesday morning, 57-year-old Leonard Quiles went ballistic after his wife refused to give him $50 to buy drugs.

Quiles went around his home, smashing two telephones, a glass table, oven, coffee pot, and chairs.

When his wife attempted to leave and drive away, Quiles attacked her car with a chair, cracking its windshield and putting dents in the fender and hood.

He was arrested by Utica police and charged with felony criminal mischief.
