BREWERTON -- Eight Central New York builders are showing off their homes as part of the 2012 Parade of Homes.

This year's homes are at the Riverwalk near Brewerton. The event showcases houses built with latest features in design and construction, and many feature more open designs.

The event can also mean a bargain for those looking to purchase. "All the builders get great deals from the suppliers, and we pass them along to the customers," said Scott Merle of Merle Builders, Inc. "There's lots of great deals to be had and we just put a lot of thought into the houses."

Tickets to see the houses are available for purchase. The Parade of Homes runs through Sunday, September 23rd.
