SYRACUSE -- Interstate I-690 Eastbound reopened Monday evening just after 6:00 p.m.

I-690 Eastbound was shutdown at the Peat Street bridge on Friday for weekend construction.

The Department of Transportation initially estimated that the bridge would re-open at noon on Monday, then changed its estimate to 6:00 p.m.
