HASTINGS -- Police in Hastings are investigating a one-car crash that happened Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 81.

Police say 27-year-old Harold H. Taylor, of Fort Drum, was traveling south on I-81 when he lost control of his car and went off the shoulder. He went into the embankment and hit several trees.

Taylor and a passenger, 28-year-old Laquicia N. Fox from Watertown, were taken to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse with leg injuries.
