The man, 23 year old David Wiles from Trumansburg, reportedly approached the police in a threatening manner, then got into a physical fight as they tried to arrest him, at one point taking an officer's Taser.  His companion, 23 year old Juliet Halloran, from Ithaca, was also involved.  She faces resisting arrest charges, he also faces assault and criminal possession of a weapon counts.

Ithaca Police say the security guard was also injured.  The officers' injuries are not life threatening, but they will have medical time off before returning to duty.
