Oswego Sheriff's Deputies say a Fulton woman has died, after her car hit a tree in Volney late Friday night.

44 year old Karen Henderson was driving the Pontiac Sunfire when it slammed into a tree on Silk Road in Volney, just before midnight. Her passenger, Brittany Thompson, 39, was taken to Oswego Hospital for treatment.

Investigation into the accident's cause continues.
