SYRACUSE -- Regardless of whether the Orange tops West Virginia or not in the 2012 edition of the New Era Pinstripe Bowl, the hardware given to the winner will be making a stop in Syracuse.

The 2012 New Era Pinstripe Bowl George M. Steinbrenner Trophy will be making appearances at various locations around Central New York on Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8.

Fans are being encouraged to come out and take a picture with the trophy and tweet them to the bowl's official Twitter account, @PinstripeBowl.  The picture will serve as an entry to win a pair of tickets to the game.

Here is a schedule of the Steinbrenner Trophy's stops in Central New York:

Friday, December 7th:
8 a.m. – Tops Grocery Store on Nottingham Road in Syracuse
11:30 a.m. – Schine Student Center
5 p.m. - Red Robin Restaurant in Fayetteville, N.Y.

Saturday, December 8th:
9 a.m. - Dunkin Donuts (Location TBD)
10:30 a.m. - Clinton Square Ice Skating Rink (Weather permitting)
12 p.m. –SU women's basketball game vs. Loyola at the Carrier Dome
3:30 p.m. – Varsity Pizza
7 p.m. - SU men's basketball game vs. Monmouth at the Carrier Dome
