SYRACUSE -- A Syracuse Police patrol pulled over a 2003 Jeep after seeing that they weren’t able to stay in their lane. The car was pulled over at about 3:15am this morning.

The officer said he smelled marijuana coming from the car, driven by 24 year old Jesus Castro-Ubiles of Geneva.

There were five other passengers in the car, so the patrol officer called for back-up.

During the investigation of the car, police say they found two loaded handguns.

All the people in the car were arrested. Castro-Ubiles was charged with failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say 16 year old Jesse Murray of West Onondaga Street was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

Everyone else in the car was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

They are identified as; 17 year old Kemar Pertillar of  Rowland St. in Syracuse, 22 year old Miguel Dejesus-Torres of Syracuse, 19 year old Sammy Matos of Sabine St. in Syracuse, and a 15 year old male from Syracuse who will not be identified due to his age.

All were arraigned in city court today.
