A 42 year old woman has serious injuries after a car pedestrian accident on Syracuse's North Side late Friday night, and police have charged the car's driver with DWI and more.

48 year old Russell Mike, from Baker Avenue in Syracuse, is charged with DWI, possession of a controlled substance, unlicensed operation and felony vehicular assault.  He was driving a Lincoln Navigator in the 11-hundred block of Wolf Street.  CNYCentral videographer Lewis Karpel captured video of Mike being given a field sobriety test.

The woman, Judy Garafolo, 42, of Phoenix, is being treated for serious injuries at Upstate University Hospital.. 
The investigation continues.

And, earlier Friday night, a Lyncourt man was charged with DWI after running off Rte 298 at New Court Ave, and slamming into two parked cars, in a tattoo parlor parking lot.  One of those cars was pushed into the building.

37 year old Matthew White, from Galster Ave, was arrested after the 8:15pm incident.
