Syracuse woman stabbed in argument over cell phone, police say

SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police responded to a stabbing a 128 Albert Terrace at 9:45 pm January 18th.
36-year-old Melinda Morris was found with a stab wound to the arm, according to police.
Officers arrested 22-year-old Abrienne Lemon, who was found not far from the scene. The two women were apparently arguing over a missing cell phone when the stabbing took place, according to police.
Morris was treated at Upstate University Hospital and released. Lemon was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
