REMSEN -- A Utica man, accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of razors, was arrested when his car broke down.

State Police stopped to help a disabled driver on ST-12 in the Town of Remsen on Friday.

Police say 39-year-old Nathaniel Walker, of 125 Pleasant Street, had a suspended driver's license and hypodermic needles in the car. But that's not all. Police searched his car and say they found $2,000 worth of Gillette Fusion Razors which he had allegedly stolen from the Walmart on ST-12 in the Town of Lowville.

Walker is charged with grand larceny and possession of a hypodermic instrument.

Another man, 63-year-old John Makuch, of 100 Rutger Street, is charged with grand larceny.

Both men were arraigned in Lowville Town Court and sent to the Lewis County Jail on cash bail.
