The Section III basketball pairings will be announced Thursday, and some local schools were wrapping up their regular seasons on Monday night.
Among those teams, were the Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights. Ludden, you may remember, won a New York State Championship last season and even though it's in Class A this year its goal is still to win it all.
The Gaelic Kinghts honored five seniors before its Senior Night game with Fowler and for as special as the pregame festivities were, the post game celebration was just as sweet.
Ludden beat Fowler 71-50 and was led in scoring by Cameron Littlejohn who scored 22 points and dished out 9 assists.
Here are some more boys scores from around the area:
LaFayette 78, Tyburn 52
Faith Heritage 72, Pulaski 39
CBA 50, Cortland 43
Solvay 41, Jordan-Elbridge 32

Elsewhere in girls basketball, Solvay celebrated its seniors in just as grand of fashion by defeating Jordan-Elbridge 67-16.
