Hogue started all 13 games for the Orange, ranks seventh in the BIG EAST with 7.4 tackles per game and tied for 12th with 0.79 tackles for loss per game. His 26.5 career tackles for loss rank ninth in Syracuse history.

Syracuse University linebacker Doug Hogue and center Ryan Bartholomew earned invitations to represent Syracuse in 86th annual East-West Shrine Game® on January 22, 2011, at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida (4:00 p.m. EST, NFL Network). Hogue and Bartholomew join SU running back Delone Carter on the 2010 East roster. Sixty-eight other former Syracuse players have participated in the East-West Shrine Game®.

Syracuse University linebacker Doug Hogue (Yonkers, N.Y.) earned the Walter Camp Football Foundation National Defensive Player of the Week and the College Football Performance Award for linebacker of the week for his performance in SU's 19-14 victory at #20/19 West Virginia.
