The Baldwinsville senior soccer goalie stopped every single shot that came his way in Monday's Section III Class AA Championship. That's all of regulation, plus two 15 minute overtime periods. Not only was he stout in net, but with the game on the line, he scored the game clinching goal in penalty kicks, delivering the Bees to the New York State Tournament.

Orange men’s lacrosse senior goalie John Galloway of Syracuse was selected as the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week and the third time this season on Monday.

Hogan helped the Orange to a 15-7 record in 2010 and advance to the NCAA Tournament semifinals for the second time in the past three years. Syracuse's 15 wins are the second-highest single-season total in school history.
