The first hat-trick in the career of Maksim Mayorov wasn’t enough for the Syracuse Crunch, as Aaron Palushaj tied the game with just over two minutes left in regulation and Grant Stevenson’s deflection past Dan Taylor 1:37 into the extra session gave visiting Hamilton the 5-4 win in front of 5,784 fans tonight at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
