The Orange is once again dipping into the local talent pool by signing Michael Koegel of Chittenango. Koegel follows local stars Stefanos Stamoulacatos, Ben Ramin, and Alex Bono to be the fourth local product to sign in the last two years.

Louis Clark (Brighton, England) scored in the 108th minute of double overtime, and the SU men’s soccer team (14-6) overcame a two-goal deficit to continue its run in the NCAA tournament with a 3-2 victory against No. 19 VCU (12-4-5) on Sunday, Nov. 18 at Sports Backers Field.

Freshman Jordan Vale (Auckland, New Zealand) registered his sixth goal of the season, but Louisville (7-4-0, 3-1-0 BIG EAST) scored twice to hand the SU men’s soccer team (8-4-0, 2-2-0 BIG EAST) a 2-1 setback on Saturday, Oct. 6 in front of a record crowd at SU Soccer Stadium.

The SU men's soccer team (8-3-0, 1-1-0) outshot its opponent for the tenth time this season, but the Orange was unable to respond to a Cincinnati (5-4-2, 2-0-0 BIG EAST) goal in the 54th minute, as the Bearcats handed SU a 1-0 loss on Saturday, Sept. 29 at Gettler Stadium.
