Monday, June 10, 2013  It was quite the sight at the SRC Arena on the campus of Onondaga Community College on Monday, as 143 scholar athletes from all over our region were honored for their outstanding work on and off the playing field.

Saturday, June 08, 2013  Six Section III teams advanced to the New York State Lacrosse Finals, and two teams were able to come out on top and call themselves the best in the state on Saturday.

Friday, May 17, 2013  Section III Athletics is officially in postseason mode. Some sports already kicked off the playoffs but for boys lacrosse, the Section III Tournament officially started on Thursday.

Sunday, March 17, 2013  After winning the Section III Championship and then their State Regional Final, five Section III teams tried to advance to the State Finals this weekend.

Friday, March 15, 2013  While most of the team is in familiar territory, the Morrisville State men's basketball program is in uncharted waters, as they are in the Division III Sweet 16 for the first time in school history.

Saturday, March 09, 2013  After winning Section III titles last week, Central New York high school basketball teams began their run in the state tournament, beginning with the regional finals on Saturday.

Tuesday, March 05, 2013  The Bishop Ludden boys basketball team has won a Section III Class A title and now has its sights set on something more. Another New York State title.

Sunday, March 03, 2013  10 high school boys basketball teams woke up Saturday morning with the chance to win a Section III title, and 5 were able to call themselves champions.

Thursday, February 28, 2013  Typically, our CNY Central Athlete segment features one or perhaps two student athletes. But this weekend, we had no choice but to feature five.

Wednesday, February 27, 2013  Section III basketball championships will take place throughout the weekend at the Carrier Dome, but on Wednesday night it was two of the "smaller" schools stealing the show Oriskany battled New York Mills for the Class D girls basketball championship and one Oriskany star put on an incredible display.

Monday, February 25, 2013  10 boys basketball teams and 8 girls basketball teams punched their tickets to their respective Section III Championship games this weekend, and will play for their title in the Carrier Dome this week.
