MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- It looks like Paul Harris and Jonny Flynn may get to play together on the same team after all, at least for the summer.
After spending the weekend showing off his skills at this weekend’s Cleveland Cavaliers’ mini-camp, Paul Harris told Action News on the phone Monday that he thinks he’ll take the offer from the Minnesota Timberwolves to play for their summer league team. Of course, that scenario will allow him to play with his former Orange teammate and fellow Niagara Falls native Flynn, who was drafted sixth overall by Minnesota in last Thursday’s NBA Draft.
The NBA Summer League schedule will begin on July 10. Click on the video tab to hear more from Paul Harris.
Meanwhile, Flynn was given the key to his hometown, Niagara Falls. The Mayor of Niagara Falls, Paul Dyster, had a special ceremony planned for Monday night.
