SYRACUSE -- The Syracuse University football team has landed two highy touted recruits in as many days, and both attribute their interaction with Greg Paulus as a reason for pledging their services to the Orange.
On Wednesday, we learned that Colorado quarterback Jonny Miller picked SU over offers from Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, and San Diego State among others. Miller spoke with Action News on Wednesday and said one of the best parts of his visit was visiting with Greg Paulus and watching film on Drew Brees with him. He also said Paulus answered many of his questions and concerns, opening the door for a commitment.
On Thursday we learned Bronx athlete Jeremiah Kobena chose Syracuse over offers from Big East rivals UConn, Pittsburgh, and Rutgers. Our friends at CuseConfidential.com tell us that Paulus was also a big helped in landing the New York State track star.
CuseConfidential will have a full article on Kobena on Friday.
