Whenever two unbeaten team face-off against each other, only one can leave still perfect. That was the case on Friday night when the Baldwinsville Bees hosted the Liverpool Warriors.
In the end, it was the Bees that kept their unbeaten season alive with a 27-14 win.
B’ville took the lead early in the 1st when Niko Manning connected with Ben Messmer for a 12-yard score.
But the Warriors fought right back, with Cam Jones bombing it to Ethan VanMarter for a 40-yard score to tie things up.
The Bees would pull away in the 2nd quarter, though. Parker Kiff and Malik Burks touchdown runs put the Bees up for good going into the half.
The Warriors would cut the lead to a touchdown on a 4 yards pass from Cam Jones to Mike Donitzen.
But that would be as close as the Warriors would get. Malik Burks would seal the game with a goal line score to keep the Bees perfect.
