INDEPENDENCE, Ohio (AP) — After months of hype, LeBron James and Shaquille O'Neal are finally wearing the same uniform.

The larger-than-life superstars, united by an offseason trade, were together on Monday as the Cleveland Cavaliers held a media day like none before in the team's 40-year history. Nearly 150 media members chronicled the duo's first day together at Cleveland Clinic Courts as the Cavs prepared for a season they hope ends with an NBA title.

"Day One of the madness," guard Mo Williams said.

James, the reigning league MVP, and O'Neal, a four-time champion, have been working out together for more than a week. On Monday, they also clowned around in the locker room before they did interviews and posed for photographs.
