VERONA -- Excitement is building for the third annual Turning Stone Resort Championship at Atunyote. The field is littered with top 50 money winners and major champions.

Former Turning Stone Resort Champions Dustin Johnson and Steve Flesch made the trek to Oneida County this year, along with 2006 B.C. Open winner John Rollins.

Among the big names to attend this year's tournament, Corey Pavin, Davis Love III, David Duval, Rocco Mediate, Justin Rose, Rich Beem, Rory Sabbatini, Ben Curtis, Stuart Appleby and Steve Marino.

It's the first stop for the Professional Golf Association in their fall series. Once again the tournament has a big purse. Six million dollars will be divided up amongst the golfers. More than a million will be handed out to the winner.

Tickets are still available for all four rounds. This year, one general admission ticket is good for any day of the tournament, and it only costs 25 dollars. Parking and Shuttle service is included with the ticket price. The general admission lot will be off of State Route 31 across from Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School.
