Henninger would score early against Christian Brothers Academy Friday night, but the Brothers would come out on top 21-20 to advance to the Class AA finals. Defense was the key for the Brothers in the second half as interceptions by Macky MacPherson and Greg Thompson would end two important drives for Henninger. CBA looks to avenge a midseason loss to B'ville next week in the Class AA title game.

Marcellus was only up 7-0 at the half, but they would eventually pull away in the second half to beat Solvay 24-0. Marcellus quarterback Will Fiacchi threw for three touchdowns for the Mustangs but it was the defense that posted its first shutout since 2007. Marcellus will play for the Class B title against Westhill next Saturday at 5:00 PM at the Carrier Dome.
