Colgate beats Lehigh 27-20

HAMILTON, NY (AP) -- Greg Sullivan threw four touchdown passes and Colgate beat Lehigh 27-20 on Saturday.

Sullivan went 11-for-21 for 196 yards, including three touchdown passes to Pat Simonds for 6, 46 and 20 yards for the Red Raiders (8-1, 3-1 Patriot League). Simonds finished with five catches for 85 yards. Sullivan also hit John Schaderman on a 46-yard touchdown pass.

The Mountain Hawks (2-6, 2-1) led 10-0 after the first quarter on a 35-yard field goal by Jake Peery and a 16-yard touchdown pass from J.B. Clark to Craig Zorn.

Three Sullivan touchdown passes put the Red Raiders up 21-10 at halftime.

Lehigh rallied in the third quarter with a 45-yard touchdown pass from Clark to James Flynn and a 25-yard field goal by Peery to pull to within 21-20.

Sullivan hit Simonds for a 20-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter as the Red Raiders put the game away.
