Peacock's two TDs lead Princeton over Cornell

PRINCETON, NJ (AP) -- Trey Peacock pulled in an over-the-shoulder catch and ran it 78 yards for a touchdown with 6:22 left to play and Princeton defeated Cornell 17-13 on Saturday.

The game-winning touchdown came after Cornell's Brad Greenway missed a 27-yard field goal wide left.

Peacock, who finished with 113 yards on three catches, also caught a 17-yard TD pass from Tommy Wornham for a 10-3 lead 6:39 left in the first half.

Wornham was 16 of 27 for 198 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers (2-5, 1-3 Ivy League). He also carried the ball 17 times for 29 yards.

Brad Greenway gave the Big Red (2-5, 1-3) a 13-10 lead on a 23-yard field goal with 27 seconds left in the third quarter.

Cornell's Ben Ganter was 16 of 32 with 181 yards and two interceptions. Marcus Hendren finished with 76 yards on 11 carries for the Big Red.
