SYRACUSE -- Wednesday on the Le Moyne College campus you could feel the pride beaming from the student body. After beating top-25 ranked Syracuse University 82-79 Tuesday night, the cause of the pride is evident.

The win earned the Dolphins the number one spot on the ESPN highlight reel, something that doesn’t happen to many Division II schools. But this exhibition win and the glory on national television won’t go to the players' heads. “We're taking it one day at a time,” says Jim Janson, a freshmen center on the team. “It happened we we're really proud of it, and we gotta win the Northeast-10 now.”

While the team stays focused on their next game and the rest of the season, this big win has some fans rethinking which team to root for. “I'm a Syracuse fan and I wasn't really rooting for Le Moyne, but it was a great win,” says Doug Bailey, a Le Moyne freshman. He was at the game and says when he got back to campus everyone was celebrating.

The Dolphins' season continues when they take on Caldwell College in New Jersey next week. For the complete Le Moyne men's basketball schedule, head to www.lemoynedolphins.com/sports/mbkb/index.
