Crunch sign two players to tryout contracts

SYRACUSE -- The Syracuse Crunch announced Friday that they have signed right wing Simon Ferguson and center Bryan Lundbohm each to a professional tryout contract.  As per club policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Ferguson, 26, appeared in 73 games with San Antonio last season, collecting five goals, five assists and 203 penalty minutes.  A native of Edmonton, Alberta, Ferguson has skated in 286 combined AHL games with Edmonton, Portland and San Antonio since 2004-05, accumulating 31 goals, 47 assists and 575 penalty minutes.

Lundbohm, 32, appeared in 50 games with Houston last season, tallying five goals, seven assists and 19 penalty minutes.  A native of Roseau, Minnesota, Lundbohm has skated in 442 combined AHL games with Milwaukee, Grand Rapids and Houston since 2001-02, amassing 56 goals, 109 assists and 269 penalty minutes.

The Crunch travel to Rochester to take on the Americans on Friday, November 6 and return home to battle Norfolk this Saturday, November 7 at the War Memorial at Oncenter at 7:30 p.m.
