As the Alliance Bank Golf Classic of the Duramed Futures Tour is just three weeks away, last year's winner Jenny Suh paid a visit to Drumlins to play with some local high school golfers.  Suh won in a playoff last year, the second year in a row the event was decided via playoff holes. She says she hopes the course "likes me again" this year.

Mary Fletcher of CBA has earned a sponsor's exemption to play in the event by way of winning the Section III Championship. It's a tradition in this event, in 2007 it was F-M's Jillian Fraccola, in 2008 and 2009 it was ES-M's Brittany Seichen earning the honor. Even for those who didn't win Section III, they have an opportunity to play in the Jr.-Pro Am before the tournament, an event unique to the Futures Tour allowing our local golfers, or, the future of the Futures Tour to learn from the best.

On Wednesday three local players teamed up with members of the local media. Elisabeth Webber from CBA teamed up with our Niko Tamurian. The three teams all tied at one-over par playing three holes in an alternate shot format.
