You can't miss it when you head into Oswego via 481 North, a sign that tells you you're entering the hometown of 2006 Stanley Cup Champion Erik Cole. Cole, who plays for the Carolina Hurricanes held an entire weekend of festivities to benefit his Dream Big Foundation and the community as a whole. Monday was the golf outing; and while Cole admits he's ready to return to the Hurricanes, as he will in late September, he also said he marks this weekend on the calendar every summer.

Proceeds from the golf outing went to Youth Sports in Oswego.
