For years now high school basketball players have dreamed of the opportunity to play at the Carrier Dome. This Sunday those teams will finally get their chance. Eight Section III teams will play in 4 straight games starting at 1 PM, all part of the first ever Scholastic Holiday Tip-Off Classic. A number of high calibre teams will be in action , including the defending Section III Class AA champion C-NS Northstars and taking on their rivals the Liverpool Warriors. Bishop Ludden will start the day at 1 O'Clock when they take on Skaneateles, Fowler takes on an always tough CBA team at 3, Elmira Southside takes on J-D at 5, and it's the aforementioned C-NS and Liverpool in the nightcap.

The Dome is uncharted territory," says J-D Head Coach Bob McKenney, "so I just think it's gonna be a great experience for the 8 teams involved, we're really excited to be a part of this tournament."

"It's a real dream come true," says J-D junior Tyler Cavanaugh, "because I've always been to so many games at the Dome, I've always wanted to play there. It'll be crazy!!"
