Syracuse University Football has hauled in some talented recruits, according to CuseConfidential.com. And one of those committed players is earning high praise from some NFL stars.

Zach Allen, a quarterback from Temple, Texas is committed to the Orange, and chose SU over offers from Minnesota, New Mexico and North Texas to name a few. Allen was recently selected to be a part of Elite 11 event in July. Allen showed his stuff at the Dallas regional where, according to ESPN analyst and Super Bowl champion Trent Dilfer, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo called Allen his "favorite" quarterback at the combine.
