After missing the season opener against Northwestern senior wide receiver Alec Lemon made his 2012 debut this weekend against USC in the New York’s College Classic.
Lemon, one of 11 players to start all 12 games last season, had 5 receptions for 34 yards. His longest of day was an 18 yard catch that was part of the Orange’s field goal drive to end the first half.
Lemon ranks 5th all time for Syracuse in career receptions with 129, and last season set a Syracuse single season record with 68 receptions.
Lemon will be important to the Orange attack as the ‘Cuse hosts Stony Brook on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the Carrier Dome
