At halftime of this weekend's action, the Section III football season will officially be at the halfway point, it's hard to believe but it isn't hard to believe the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets are undefeated.

That's because F-M has been working hard since the summer as Head Coach Paul Muench says, but it's not just the hard work, which is important he adds, but also this team has plenty of talent.

For proof of that look no further than the teams F-M has defeated to earn its 3-0 start to the year- 49-0 over Central Square, 14-13 over West Genesee and 34-25 over Baldwinsville. Safe to say wins like that will help build confidence and also put a bit of a target on the Hornets' back.

The next team that gets a crack at F-M is a very tough 2-1 Liverpool team, it gets going at 7:00 p.m. at F-M on Friday and it'll be our Toyota High School Game of the Week.
