All season long, the Syracuse Orange offense has potent, and at times unstoppable.

On Saturday night, the Minnesota Golden Gophers finally solved the riddle.

The Gophers held Syracuse to just 10 points, 350 total yards and forced 4 turnovers as they beat the Orange 17-10 at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The Orange actually outgained the Gophers by 13 yards, but made too many costly mistakes, including an interception inside Minnesota's 5 yard line in the 3rd quarter.

Ryan Nassib finished 21-32 passing for 228 yards and one touchdown, but had two interceptions.

Jerome Smith and Prince-Tyson Gulley combined for 100 yards on the ground.

The loss, no doubt, is devastating for the Orange which drops to 1-3 on the season now heading into its first bye week of the season.

After that bye week, SU hosts Pittsburgh on a Friday night in the Carrier Dome that game is set for 7 p.m. on October 5th.
