Brief lockdown at Solvay High School after burglary reported nearby

SOLVAY -- Solvay Police say Solvay High School was briefly locked down while police investigated a reported burglary in the area.

School officials say the lockdown was requested by police and only lasted 15 minutes.

A burglary on Hall Avenue, between Palmer Avenue and Woods Road, was reported to 911 around 9:50 a.m.
