It's officially game week for the SU mens basketball team and that means the Orange is preparing to play its first game--both of the season and at sea.
That's because the season tips off with Syracuse taking part in the Battle on the Midway against San Diego State. As you might've put together by now, the game is being played on the U.S.S. Midway aircraft carrier off the coast of San Diego.
Tipoff is set for 8:00 p.m. on Friday on the U.S.S. Midway, and is a top 20 battle. Syracuse is ranked #9 and San Diego State checks in at #20.
