ELMIRA (AP) -- Police have charged a 21-year-old man with the slaying of a man whose partially clothed body was found in a vehicle parked in an alley in Elmira.
The Elmira Police Department tells local media outlets Friday that officers responding to reports of a body in a vehicle found the man's body in the back of a sport utility vehicle late Thursday morning.
Officials say they later arrested 21-year-old Justin Jones of Elmira and charged him with second-degree murder. No other details have been released.
Jones is being held in police custody pending his arraigned in Elmira City Court Friday morning.
The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of relatives
