PHOENIX -- An oxygen tank explodes, adding fuel to a house fire in Phoenix. Fortunately, the woman who was home at the time made it out safely. No one else was hurt.

Firefighters were called to 26 Dix Drive in Phoenix just after 12:30 p.m., to find flames pouring out of the windows of a one story wood frame house.

The woman told firefighters she smelled smoke coming from the bathroom, and knew something was wrong. She warned them there was an oxygen tank back there. Shortly after she finished telling them, there was an explosion.

Fire crews had to pull firefighters back, and fight the flames from the outside.

Firefighters tell us the displaced woman will be staying with relatives.

Their investigation into the cause continues.
